A rouge appeared in Audron's territory and made herself welcome without permission, giving birth to one female cub despite being so young herself, The cub was born so weak it barely mewled, Audron, incapable of risking the young cubs life let the pair stay. The cub Tai seems to be growing stronger.
(08/12/17) - 2 Months old-
"How come only some of the cubs have names?" Tai was asking her mother as she laid down for a nap. Her mother looked down at her, "Lions who have names belong in the pride, Tai." Her mother, at the time nameless, was being trained as a broodmother, "Although some of them simply haven't had one picked yet. The king names the pride members," Tai looked over to Tadaki, the biggest cub despite their age, and the other cubs, some who had names, some who didn't, "Is Tadaki important then?" She watched the toothy cub struggle from his broodmother, Keychain who was also her own, But unlike her own mom, Tadaki's spent much time away, leading hunts with the Queen Wenet. "Tadaki is very important," Her mother replied. "Will I be important?" Tai's orange eyes glistened, "We'll see." Her mother cooed.

Tai was playing by herself when tadaki came up to her. He always seemed bigger than the other cubs...Wait whats in his mouth? "What you got Tadaki," The dark cub asked. "Its a honeycomb." Tadaki placed on the ground for his friend to see, she gave it a lick. "It looks like fun to eat." Tai replied, more open and curious about it than Tadaki had. Tadaki couldn't help but feel more upbeat around his happy friend, "I'll share it with you, and then we can play with that big palm leaf you got." Tadaki crouched down to take a bite of the comb, it had a slight nice flavour to it. and the texture was nice. The two sat together and ate quietly.

Tai ran over to collect rations of waterroot from Wenet after being sent off from her shade by Audron. The queen was looking firmly over the adolescents. "Glad you could join the rest of us, Tai. Unlike your mother, you are expected to become a hunter, like most of the females. i hope you can be more timely next time." The other year-olds giggled at tai, who dipped her head in embarassment. "You'll all begin training soon, a few girls will join my hunting parties, wait your turn if you aren't picked. Tai, I expect you to clean yourself up and finish your root, you'll be joining us soon." the other cubs chuckled again, Wenet turned a fierce gaze to one of them, "Why don't you come too, Ruby?" Silence. Lavender walked over to the two. Tadakis mother, and Lilac, Tadaki's older sister. "Hunting for the pride is more fun than it is work," The senior huntress explained, "You'll have a good time." "I'm sure I'll have a lot to learn," Tai dipped her head humbly.

Tadaki exhaustibly returns back from another training patrol, getting some time to relax. Oh Tai's sitting around too! but by the time he reaches her, Wenet calls her out on another patrol. Darn! Is it always going to be like this?

Tai was hauling back her kills with wenet when she spotted Tadaki sitting with three of the adolescent females. Marigold was licking his fur, and Leilah was making a joke Tadaki seemed to think was funny while Abigaile just lay against his side despite the heat. Tai wondered who would be best as his queen. She herself was a bit timid and not very fond of cubs, and didnt think herself suitable. Marigold was the strongest and oldest, and would make a great mate on top. She'd be Tais first choice given the option. Abigale wasn't fond much of the work, so probably wouldnt fit. Leilah was alright, strong like Marigold, and would be kind to newcomers. Ruby had become Tai's close friend, and while she'd make a great mate, on her own she didnt stand well as a leader. Tai's contemplation was interrupted by a whisking tail over her nose. Wenet was staring her down, "Its time to head back out." Well at least Wenet saw something in her. What was it though?

Tai spent a long day comforting Wenet after her lone cub died. Although both knew the male cub had no place in the pride, this wasn't the way anyone had planned it to go. After hours of Tai licking and purring with her mentor, Wenet simply replied the young lioness had more potential than she knew and fell asleep. Audron buried their son and sat for a bit to mourn. Tadaki was watching tai sorrowfully from a distance. He seemed to have wanted to talk about something, just now didn't seem a good time. Audron sent a different hunting patrol to mess with the water buffalo that had trampled his cub.
09/03/17-Princess Tai Staren huffs angrily, shaming you for public affection during a morning snuggle. Others might not appreciate it! When you two are alone, she'll give you all the snuggles you want.

Tai was assessing the prey pile as she liked to do after several hunts, but Tadaki had been prowling by, waiting for her to come home after another hunt. She was sure busy! Audron was sitting with the heir and gave him a shove, and tai spotted Tadaki as he came bounding over, fast as he could. "Tai! Wait up!" He called just before bumping heads with her in a friendly greeting, "Take a break to talk with me." She flicked her tail amused, "Any time for a close friend, although I must also obey you as you are the prince." "Oh hush up on that!" Tadaki replied flustered, He took a few steps away, as tai's hunting party was watching the two with mixed glances, particularly Marigold who was a bit jealous. Tadaki was walking for a bit with Tai beside him, and he spotted her fur begin to prick up anxiously. "I know you think you won't be as good a pick as some of the other lionesses, especially Marigold." Tadaki replied, "But...Wenet and Audron both agree that you do a great job leading patrols and caring about the other lionesses. The way you took care of Wenet when that cub was trampled was really ...sweet." Tai as staring at him in silent shock as he rambled, until he fell short of praises and just stared at her dumbly. "A-and I love you" Tadaki piped out more sheepishly than the generally boisterous male had ever been. Tai's gaze softened, "I already knew that, Tadaki. I love you too," And she brushed her head against his mane, licking his cheek.
