Pelt aglow with a fiery sheen, wings and curved horns protruding from his body, it quickly becomes clear that Azriel came from lands beneath — a hellish beast their khan simply refers to as the 'manticora'. Little of him is known, only that he conquered the land alongside Vazuvius and that he has been advising him since, sharing his powers at the steep price of innocent blood. Graced with a cunning and charismatic demeanor, it is all too easy to fall for his ploy, and dozen of unwitting travelers have been prey to his guile when no one was watching. Of course, this morally questionable approach to life does not extend to the tribe, their coexistence too mutually beneficial. With this as his priority, the manticore spends most of his time in close vicinity to the temple, and doesn't mind sparing free moments to teach youngsters a thing or two. This peaked in most resident sorceresses being the result of his lessons, but neither they nor the others appear to mind his unintentional gifts.} _TRIVIA _{◼ -}
