Despite her overall warm and kind disposition, Sura is more well-known as a brave and strong lioness. Born from the Advisor of the Pride, Sura was always sure of herself and never wavered when it came to what she felt was right. As a cub, she loved playing and cuddling with the others, but she also spent a lot of time training and getting stronger and smarter. When one of her playmates fell into the river during a game, the other cubs cried for help or panicked, but she jumped into the water and pulled the other cub to safety. Her mother congratulated her for being brave but also warned her of crocodiles. Sura listened to her mother and spent her free time studying crocodiles and other predators and their behavior and tendencies.
Although by adulthood, she was asked to be a Warrior or Hunter by her pride-members, she chose the role of Caretaker. It was the role she always wanted. She may be strong and tough but her goal has always been to love and protect others. She also proves that you don't have to fit into a certain stereotype to be a certain role.
When she was born, Mekaisto IV was King. But he transformed to Mekaisto V soon after. And by the time she was an adult, he was starting to be more comfortable in his new transition. And Sura really caught his eye. He loved how steadfast and sure she was in her convictions and in herself. He asked her to be Queen, however, and she refused. She thanked him for the honor and opportunity, but she felt like that wasn't meant to be her path. Her decision he felt was very respectable let her continue to be who she wanted to be. Instead, he bestowed on her a Jasper necklace that he had once wore as a former King. It was a great honor that she was very touched by and now wears it with pride.

-Sura stands on her back legs, cuddling into your soft mane for a bit as a greeting.
-Sura woke you up this morning by flopping onto your side and licking your ear. Hard to be grumpy about that!
-Sura rubs cheeks with you, then rubs her body against yours. You shiver slightly as her tail tip brushes your back.
-As you approach to bump her forehead, Sura grabs your head and starts licking your snout softly.
