Heldersiende Cerussite

Birthed from a commoner, Cerussite initially stood out from the pride right from the beginning. She was pale. Paler than what could be considered normal & the other cubs made no effort to hide their discomfort toward it. It was in her early years, however, that she was taken in as an apprentice to the late prophetic Aziza. As much torment as Cerussite went through, the nights were found to be much more troubling with dreams of a future within the pride that had yet to happen. She simply assumed they were terrible nightmares but as time passed things kept aligning with reality... & Aziza notice her often distraught expressions when things happened. She shared the gift of clairvoyancy, a gift she'd been hoping would come along soon as she herself was aging into her elder years. The cub was reluctant, too modest to consider she were anything special after the mocking & belittling she'd lived through until now, but caved when the dreams persisted & she could no longer ignore what they were trying to tell her.

In spite of all her hardships growing up, & as aloof & cold as that has made her, Cerussite readily took over as the pride's clairvoyant, aiding in a better future for Sundiata. She spends much of her time speaking with the Queen, or, in dire times with the King to prepare for troubling issues that should arise. While she refutes the idea of taking on an apprentice herself, she knows too well the time has come for her as it did Aziza. With the birth of a new prodigy, she is the sole lion that can provide a paved path for the inexperienced seer, Lilium.
