She watched over him when he was just a cub, and so he only found it fitting she became broodmother the moment he became king. To Nyx, the mighty king is still just a small cub with much to learn. Though very elusive, she always seems to be present when you need her most. And despite her sharp, gruff and even harsh demeanor, all of the lions in her pride know she’s caring at her core. She’s trusted with the most important of matters, and with the birth of every cub she personally bestows upon them a blessing and a name. A tiny little bird sticks by her side. Nobody really knows why.
