You want to tell a pride mate that they need to correct their behavior, but you couldn't find the words and you felt bad. So, you approach Haunting Melody and ask her to do it for you. She laughs at your ineptitude, but agrees. You can trust her to say what needs to be said.

Haunting Melody comments on your lack of skill in sparring with other lions as you approach. Sheesh.

Mels had a hard time climbing the wall, but she finished it all by herself anyway only to turn around and act like it was the easiest thing ever.

While in a grapple, Mels whispered something into her opponent's ear only for the other cub to burst into tears and run back home to its mommy. What could she have possibly said...?

Scornful, brutally honest, and very arrogant, Mels cares not for people. She says things as they are and doesn't care how it hurts others. In truth, she doesn't mean to be cruel; she just lacks empathy, and thinks kind people are only pretending. She, too, was abandoned, and as such cut herself off from others. She trusts nobody and nobody trusts her, and that's the way she likes it.

Mels thinks that Kakarot is far too soft on his pride members, and dislikes him with a passion. Believing prides should be ruled through fear rather than compassion, Mels thinks Kakarot is a stupid wimp and thinks the same of Xantos. For now she remains docile, but there's only so long a hatred can bubble before it overflows.
