Gaea, meaning “Goddess of the Earth,” Greek Born in the muddy marshes south of King Ædrakyn’s pride lands, all Gaea ever knew was mud and muck. Constantly covered in it, she felt a strong connection to the Earth Mother from the time she left her mother’s womb. By the time she was 5 months, ready to leave her mother and begin hunting and training, she had decided she would stay in this marshy biome for the rest of her life, eventually to become one with the Earth in her death. The King had other plans. King Ædrakyn came to see her the day before her fifth month came. She had been born special. A mosaic of patterns and colors on her fur. She was to be gifted to a neighboring pride to try to solidify an alliance. An old and noble pride, but with a King that would not tolerate Ædrakyn’s black heart.
