Being the only surviving descendant of the first king, she felt immense pressure for most of her life to produce an heir in order to continue the late king's legacy. Athena, her sinister mother, chastised the lioness and vowed until her dying day that Minerva would never amount to anything because she couldn't seem to produce a cub to honor her late father. Although Minerva has since borne an heir to King Parzival, the cub was born after her mother's death. The feat would never be recognized. Oh, how Minerva wishes her wretched mother knew that her cub officially tied the two dynasties together; something much more significant than simply keeping a dwindling bloodline alive. Due to no fault of the cub's own, Minerva's once shaky and timid temperament now eerily echoes the scorn of her late mother. She's truly turned into her worst nightmare; and there doesn't seem to be any way to remedy this.
