Name: Bird
Ndege is reserved and quiet, and even though she likes to cuddle and be in constant physical contact with someone, she doesn't talk very much. She showed up to Thedas one day and the King and Queen decided to let her stay. Her past is unknown and she doesn't discuss it.
4/8/18: Ndege isn't particularly saddened by Grheene's death. She barely knew or interacted with him. He was just another lion in the savannah. What she does miss is being able to freely see her male companion, Lucio. Not knowing how King Trevelyan will react to a rogue male entering his lands on the daily, Ndege has warned Lucio to stay away until the pride can finish grieving.
4/16/18: Ndege was affected very minorly by Carswell III's death. The elderly lioness was apart of the old days and Ndege wanted nothing to do with that. The two never talked and Ndege refused to be put on the same hunting team as her. So when she died, Ndege only bothered to attend her ascension out of respect for being an elder.
4/25/18: With the queen's death, Ndege was feeling ambitious. The royal family was breaking apart, Martyn was almost never seen, Fantasia II was always at the flowering fields, Ozara was nothing but aggressive and hostile, and Ozarka was always running between the rest of her siblings trying to bring them back together, but it wasn't working. The timing was perfect. While most everyone else was grieving for their dead queen, Ndege snaked her way to Trevelyan's side. She cooed and wooed him, looking for his sympathy but for his rank as well. At first, the fool genuinely believed her grief and tried comforting her. The two ended up spending quite some time together over the next few days. They were getting quite close, but when she asked him to make her his queen, he flat out refused her. In shock and anger, she struck him with claws extended, but he remained calm when speaking with her. She was too old and he didn't love her, he said, which only served to infuriate her even more. She lashed out again, but he dodged this time. Without further speaking, he left her by herself probably to heal his wounds.
4/26/18: When word of her actions reached the pride, everyone was disgusted with Ndege. She was demoted twice to a hunting party full of practically overgrown cubs. She hated everyone for doing this to her, simply because she was smarter than the rest and tried to woo their king.
4/27/18: To add insult to injury, Trevelyan an Ozarka are soon wedded to each other, and Ndege is forced to attend. Despite how miserable she feels on the inside, she plays along and celebrates with the happy couple.
Before she dies Ndege scolds her two daughters and informs them how disappointed she is in them. Nwala was one of King's Grheene's cubs but had no ambition. They were both fine with being mediocre and average. Because of her attitude and verbal abuse, the two sisters decide to move in with the neighboring Wakanda pride. When Ndege dies, her daughters do not attend her ascension.
