They ask me for my story and I can do nothing but stare. My past is but a memory that I do not possess. All I know is I have lived a long life in a pride I have already forgotten. Here they take good care of me, even in my old age I'm given an important role. I watch over the cubs and help sculpt them into what they will later become. So many young faces I hope will watch over me when I pass. This pride is warm and full of life. We all have our roles and so many unqiue personalities. Some are so kind, and others; savage beasts who would bite the queen that feeds them. I will die before them all, hopefully not by their own claws. -6/27/18 (15 yrs, 8 months old)
