Biography
Maya was gifted to Rowan Zu when she was still young. Rowan Zu raised her and she became like a daughter to him. Her beauty attracted a lot of envy from early on. She had to deal with many bullies who coveted Maya her beautiful fur markings. They told her she was worthless because she had been given to a stranger king instead of being raised in her birth pride. Thus, she grew up an innocent and shy lioness. When she came into heat, she fell in love with a kind-hearted king and bore him two beautiful daughters. Both of them were raised in the Zu Pride and went on producing beautiful cubs of their own. One heat she fell victim to a cruel and evil lion. One of the two cubs, her daughter Skyfall, stayed. Maya has not been with a lion since then. When Rowan Zu named Ur his heir, she swore him loyalty. Unfortunately, a few days after Rowan Zu had died and a few lions revealed their allegiance to Quu Zu, she was out hunting. She ran right into the small bulk of lions who had left the camp and "rebelled". Though a skilled fighter, she was out-numbered. Furthermore, she did not immediately understand the situation and when she did, it was too late. The lions had formed a circle around her and one of their own - Ditalla. Maya had no chance against the stronger and superior lioness. It had not been without reason that the brutal lioness had once been considered for Chief Huntress. Maya was subdued quickly - her death, unfortunately, was not a quick one. Ditalla slowly ripped her apart while keeping her alive and conscious till the very end.
