The Dark Knight & The Hyena Written by Unicorn #127712
The dark knight sat out on a towering rock in the fresh light of the luminescence. With the air tender, but also crisp, the lion sat and listen to his thoughts. The lion is calm but also disturbed. The fantasy of a lioness, he was young when he was adopted by the great beast King Nazer. He thinks the visions, of the lioness, might have been his mother. "No," he thought "It's not possible." The lion doesn't remember it's mother. The great beast told him, his father left the poor cub at the tree and was barely a month old.
The dark knight stayed out all night questioning what his dreams might mean. Could it mean something? He was miffed. He was now affronted and capricious at the fact that he had no idea who or what is it about. A moment later, The dark knight heard a twig snap. "Who's there!" He roared. A darkly spotted hyena came strolling out of the bushes, "Well, well, well" it said, "it seems we met again, Prince Alfie." The lion stands guard and sneered " Who are you!" he growled, " and how do you know my name?" The hyena sat in front of the lion, showing no intimidations. "I'm here to help you," The hyena said. The hyena coat was groomed fine, and it seems to have been around many other lions for years. "I know about your dreams and why they are bothering you." the hyena said evenly. The lion knew the hyena was not afraid of him, but the lion was terrified of the hyena.
"You know nothing about me! Now get The great beast territory!" as he roared the lion leaps toward the hyena. When he landed, the hyena was not under him. "You won't catch me" The hyena chuckled "I'm too fast for ya." The hyena padded toward the timid lion "So, do you want my help, Alf-" "Don't you dare say my name" The lion snarled. The hyena seemed fearless of the lion sneer. "Fine, The dark knight, do you or do you not need my help?" The lion didn't respond right away, instead, he stood there staring into the hyena eye. The lion is hungry. "No don't eat me! Well, you can't!" The hyena laughed and rolled around on the ground "You big-" The lion had enough of it's foolish and swoop the hyena up by the neck. "You are not my mentor you are useless!" He hung the hyena at the edge of the cliff. "Ah! But you do need my help!" The hyena respond. "And I can help you."
