Jazzy

This pale lioness once got separated from her pride as a cub, and wound up with a clan of hyenas for awhile! The pack was friends with a certain striped hyena (Laharu) who had helped a king (Gedrick, the king before Nequitia), who helped settle a dispute between clans. They didn’t like lions, but they didn’t hate them. A kindly young female decided to care for her for awhile until her mother and Gedrick came looking for her. She had spent three months of her cub life learning hyena-things like scavenging, and several sneaky hyena tricks. Gedrick, the kind and wise lion he was, saw this as an incredible opportunity. He thought perhaps in this way lions and hyenas could eventually become friends!
But lioness and even the female hyena mothers quickly declined the idea of willingly allowing their children to mingle with another (enemy) species. So that idea was out the window.
However Jazzy enjoyed having the best of both worlds, even if she gets wierd looks hanging out with Laharu and other hyenas. No one’s bothered by it, mainly because she threatens to play some of her hyena tricks on her pridemates if they tease her about it. The current king, Nequitia complains about it a lot but can’t really do anything about it since she IS one of the best hunters. Really all he complains about though is her stinky friend eating food he didn’t even try to help hunt and the hyena pelt she wears all the time. (She DOES wash it, she swears she does!).
