Nadifa looked around, scared and helpless. Two lionesses who looked very similar were approaching her with hard looks. "Who are you, child?" One, looking younger, asked. Nadifa scrambled to her feet, but she was too weak to run fast. She was soon grabbed by the scruff by the older looking one. "Don't squirm," said the younger one, speaking again. "We'll bring you to our king, Alecko II". This idea did not particularly appeal to Nadifa, but she stopped nevertheless. --- Alecko II turned around from where he had been grooming Zuri. "What is it?" He asked, not harshly, as Dahneera II entered the Royal's cave. "A cub, from the outskirts of our territory, my sire." Alecko II nodded, and Zuri the queen turned. Dahneera entered with the cub in her jaw, which she dropped softly onto the mossy ground. Alecko II was immediately entranced, much to the chagrin of Zuri. Annoyed, she sighed. Alecko II nodded. "She's part of the clan," He said easily.
