The Tshibinda volcanic field, located west of the SW end of Lake Kivu near the Congo-Rwanda border, consists of a group of three basaltic cinder cones and associated lava flows. Their age is not known precisely, but they may have been active within the past 2000 years. Or so says the rogue Rudu, who has travelled a fair bit before settling here. The name suits the naughty cub who, alongside her second cousin Lilu, carry on their mother's legacy of the worst lions in the pride! "You went up to munch more on a carcass you started eating yesterday. As you bite in, a spider suddenly scurried out of a hole in it! You heard Tshibinda cackle nearby. Thanks for the heart attack." "You walk by the sleeping Tshibinda unsuspectingly, when she sticks out one paw in front of yours. You trip and fall on your snout. Yikes!"
