Ravensky padded up to Hawkstar, who sat on a large rock overlooking a river. She was weary from her long travel. It was clear she had a fulfilling life of care and love but she seemed too old to breed. Hawkstar approached cautiously but Ravensky immediately bows, purring. Surprised in a way Hawkstar nuzzled her and brought her to the clans, sitting down. The clans watched her in awe of her markings, making Ravensky hot with embarassment. 21 cubs paded up to her in a wave of curiosity, excitement, and peer pressure, overwhelming Ravensky, but she smiled anyway her eyes gleaming. She laid down and played with the little cubs, Hawkstar nodded knowing what she wanted. He paded forward, "I see you have lived a long life. You look strong and capable to live the rest of your days protecting. Would you like to join us?" Ravensky looked around at the multitude of expressions on every lion's face, turning back, she nodded a cub crawling on her back. Hawkstar nods once more, "I give you the name of Ravensky. Take care of these cubs with dignity and strength and I welcome you to join our clans. We have two. Would you like to live high in the mountains or in the gorge where the land is more level?" Despite the calming look of the gorge, Ravensky looked up at the snowy capped mountains, a light of adventure in her eyes. Mountainclan cats gathered around her, chanting her new name and introducing themselves. This would be her final destination after her long journey.
