Rue

King Avarokin's Rule
Rue was one of the few lionesses that originated from the old pride before King Avarokin's rule was established. She was one of the finest huntresses in the pride at that time and her work was displayed heavily by the number of scars she wore proudly on her pelt. With the large influx of new members joining the pride and young cubs quickly growing into adolescent huntresses, Rue was one of the first lionesses to consult when it came to training others. Rue was a fine huntress when working solo, but she tended to forget some of the fundamentals when working alone. She sticks out for her communication and cooperation skills in the situation of a group hunt. She can usually be found leading a hunt or being the one to give growing lionesses their huntress' exam. At first sight, many would confuse her as a huntress who eventually made her way into becoming a broodmother due to her ability to work with young ones and her nurturing personality. However, the best parts of that personality were exemplified when working with others in the art of hunting. She refused the title of Hunt Master, knowing that if she were to take that title she would have to be one of the best solo huntresses as she certainly was not. Yet, she still finds herself working closely with Pele as they train young lionesses.

King Diyanshu's Rule
During the transition time between rulers, Rue found herself deciding if she should retire from the huntresses or not. She had been working for moons with Pele to help train the large group of adolescent huntresses they had coming their way, but everyone in the pride was a full-grown adult now. She enjoys helping Pele train the new lionesses that grow into their claws, but she was growing older. It seemed that the entire pride was able to adjust to the new change. Rue knew that the pride was in capable paws and was more than excited to retire from being a huntress. She likes to spend most of her afternoon bathing in the sun and chattering with Avarokin and Nessa. With only a small group remaining of the original members of the pride, Rue likes to rejoice with Ebony knowing that their pride will live on.
