A few hours after the arrival of Ravensky another lioness came to the pride when everyone was settling down for the night. She told the clan she folled her friend's scent trail and wanted to be with her. Hawkstar smiled at this newcomer, his pride was large, but it was welcoming. Following Hawkstar to where Ravensky had made her nest by some cubs, Murmuringbrook rushed over and rubbed her head against her friends. Ravensky told her her new name, and Murmuringbrook cocked her head. Looking expectantly at Hawkstar, he told her he'd call a meeting in the morning. The next day, the lions gathered at a summons and Hawkstar called, "Your new name shall be Murmuringbrook, use your stealth and wit to keep the clan alert for danger."
