"Wenet" meaning "Swift One".
The earth goddess came to the pride one spring - she came strolling from the forest swathed in furs, surrounded by her faithful companions, forest animals of all varieties - hares, rabbits, squirrels, deer. After helping the pride defeat the spring rabbit plague, Wenet decided to stay with the pride, and live out her life as a mortal.
Wenet's love of nature did not lessen in her mortal life. She attracted small, fluffy creatures to her life moths to a flame, and the rest of the pride had to bite back their instincts to eat them, fearing the goddess's wrath. Wenet's wisdom extended to plants too - which were poisons, which were edible, which could be made into medicines. Her knowledge about the plant and animal kingdoms brought much aid to the pride - she could predict the migrations of the herds, tell when a storm was coming, draw prey to her as if by a spell. The pride both feared her and adored her, and within a month of her stay, the King had already appointed her a royal title, making her Lady Wenet the Wise, inviting the lioness to live in the Royal cave.
The thing Wenet adored the most about her mortal life, however, was having cubs of her own. As a goddess, such a thing would never have been possible. Wenet was renowned for her fertility, and gave birth to a new litter each spring - and all of her offspring were, of course, demi-gods, with divine blood running through their veins. Her cubs also had her strange abilities and connection to nature, and she loved them deeply and was a wonderful mother to them all. Even years later their line can still be traced back the the earth goddess Wenet, who as as promiscuous as she was fertile, and had so many children that she could no longer count them. Her pridesisters jokingly said that she bred like a rabbit. Which was ironic.
You find Wenet carefully watching the ducks in the water. You ask her what she's doing. She tells you that she hunts the best if she knows the behavior of her prey. Smart...but couldn't she take a break? It's been hours!
Wenet greets you with a frowned look on her face. Where have you been the whole day? There's so much to do!
