Flameheart

My pride put me up for trade. I was hurt and scared I was 5 moons at the time. There were some prides looking at me but the lead lions were evil you could see it in their eyes. One day I decided I’m not going up for trade like a piece of road kill nobody wants. I’ll runaway find my own way in life. 5 days later I was starving to death and dehydrated. I stumbled into something tall big and furry I looked up excepting I was about to die. When I saw a strange lion looking down at me. I welcomed in his cooling shadow and looked into his kind eyes and said “Who are you?” He sat down bringing his big paws around me and pulled me close. “There there little one you must be exhausted. I’m going to carry you to safety just rest. He lowered himself and allowed me to climb onto his back I slept all the way to his pride lands and into the camp. I woke up to him picking me up and gently setting me down next to a very small waterfall that was leading to a nice cool little pool of water. I drank and he gave me food. He went over to a large den and called inside. A beautiful lioness appeared a small silver cub trailing her she was bouncing up and down it was making me dizzy. She couldn’t be older than two moons. They walked up to me and the lioness spoke up “Hello little one my name is Dawnfur and this is my cub Silverkit. You must be tired and scared but do not worry I’ll protect you. Tallstar.” She called over the big lion that brought me here. “Let’s do a naming ceremony for him.” He nodded and started talking “from This moment forward you shall be known as Flamepaw and do you wish to protect your pride and respect it?” I nodded he bent down and liked the top of my head. Dawnfur and Silverkit both chanted my name and my chest swelled up with pride. I finally had a home and I will protect it with my life.
