Isokan adores his daughter, and although he is a lion of few words, Sabi grows up knowing she is safe and loved. One of her favourite pastimes is accompanying her father on his patrols - he deliberately diverts to places he knows she will like, such as the flowering fields overlooking the pride shrublands. He will spend hours here with her, sitting and watching as she pounces on flowers and darts to and from his resting place with flowers for him and her mother. He smiles at her joy and cares not that his patrol time is taken up with her. It could be much worse, he thinks, carrying her back from her forays, curled up in his ample mane as he trudges back to the pride. "Sabi lost track of the rat she was stalking and ended up face to face with a crocodile! Understandably, she did not want to practice stalking after that." "Sprawled out in the shade next to Sabi, you complained how all this fur is just SO HOT. She agreed, sprawling out next to you. Finally, someone in the pride who understands your pain!" Adenium Obesum - This flowering plant species belongs to the family Apocynaceae and order Gentianales. It is native to the Middle East, southern, tropical, and subtropical Africa. The tropical plant is tolerant to drought. The plant flowers in winter and lasts until summer. It grows around 3 meters in height. It has a thick trunk and a woody base known as caudex. Clumps of leathery leaves appear at the branch tips and are arranged in a spiral manner. The flowers are bell-shaped and beautiful. They have five petals and are around five centimeters in length. The flowers are red or pink in color often with a whitish flush. The popular names for the plant are Sabi star, kudu, mock azalea, impala lily and desert rose.
