*Ryou

Hard headed and a bit of a skeptic, Ryou is the kings favourite. The two are inseparable and acts as the "Queen" of the pride. Due to Aamons favoritism he has more control than most queens would. It's almost like he was but the king himself.

The other lionesses do not like him. Ryou is not kind and tends to act for the few over the many. Acting outside of Aamons wishes is something he doesn't do though, so none of the lionesses will get more than an earful out of him.

Though he holds power and none of the pride would dare go out to attack him outside of Sirene, he seems very cautious around others. Like the pride is against him and his wishes. It's rare to see him outside of Aamons view or away from his side at all.

Ryou is able to fall pregnant- to the surprise of both Aamon and himself. If nothing else this has given him more ammo to work with towards the other lionesses but also allows him to bear Aamons children. He'd resent to carrying anyone other lions cubs and they would no doubt die during the first night if Ryou had anything to say of it.

Once Aamon had passed, Ryou grew very quiet. He rarely talked to others and is usually sitting alone, snapping at anyone who got close. No matter the prides feelings on Ryou, they pity him. He hates it like nothing else.

With the rise of Queen Asuka, the adoptive daughter of both him and the late Aamon, he has grown worryingly quiet. Though you are able to see the same bitterness that drove him to kill, it seems redirected at himself rather than his pride-mates. He wants to go back and change things, to keep Aamon around as long as he can but no lion in his pride or any others can turn back time to erase death.
