Johann

Johann is a bit of an odd character. He loves to sing and serenade other lions. He does his job as a subordinate well, and also loves to relax and indulge in finer pleasures. Johann is quite arrogant in his ability to do his job as a subordinate, but interestingly he has no desire to become an heir or King, easily letting the role pass onto Dion. Its as if he enjoys being subordinate to a King, rather than gaining rank. All of this put him a bit at odds with the previous King, Silenus, who was confused by his combination of a lack of ambition and fervent desire to be seen as useful to a superior. Silenus was also not fond of his desire to indulge in pleasure and laze around. However, he gets along quite well with the new King Dionysus, who shares his love of indulging in pleasure. Dion seems to understand his need for a superior not only to provide him structure and tasks, but also have someone to almost worship. Dion allows Johann to express this however feels natural. Johann is now seen lying around with and grooming King Dion as much as his groupies, but nobody is really surprised. He likes to serenade the King in the private section of the den, and provides music during the parties.
