Voly'no didn't know the number of times his mother had left him with another one of her cubs, he hadn't really cared to keep count of all of them, but this time it was different. He knew that this would be the last, after she stole Eirene's only dwarf cub Edon she would not be coming back here. Conflicted about this, he decided to keep this final cub and name it after his mother, in secret. Amongest the clan he simply called the cub 'Vonni' to avoid their collective ire. Vonn'toni would not know of the things that their mother had done, not if he could help it. Meer days after her coming-of-age ceremony, Voly'no disappeared. At first, the pride thought it one of his long expeditions, but when he did not return for several months they knew he would not return. Vonn'toni, newly championing her true name, took up the mantle in his place. She lacks experience and knowledge of shamanism, however, and struggles with the lot she has been given.
