The reeds quivered as a pale scaled creature crawled with blinding speed. It stopped only at the edge where a male lion could be seen, sunbathing on a cluster of smooth rocks. The albino crocodile trained his eye on the sleeping lion with intensity. It waited a moment, before launching himself at the lion, his jaws outstretched.

The Lion's eyes snapped open and he jumped out of the way and the albino crocodile landed on the sun warmed stones with a hiss. The male lion crouched, his tail whipping anxiously, a wild gleam in his eye. The croc hissed and leapt at the lion once more, who danced out of the way. The crocodile lunged, and the lion jumped back with a gruff laugh. The crocodile, who appeared to be annoyed, went for the Lion's front paw, which startled him, making him scramble backward, right into much larger croc, which had been sleeping.

The disturbed crocodile let out a terrifying his and snapped at the lion, and the dark furred lion fell over with a grunt. The albino crocodile leapt and fastened his teeth on the Lion's throad, pulling at the fur there. The lion let out a mighty laugh

"Well done Jeff. But I almost got you" he told the albino crocodile. Jeff only let out a hiss and continued to tug. "Get off me you annoying reptile" he grunted, rolling over and Jeff dropped obediently and crawled over to the larger crocodile, who glared at the pair. Jeff let out a cry and the large crocodile huffed, laying his head on the stones, and promptly fell asleep

*****
Conrad is considered a risk taker. He enjoys putting himself in danger simply for the thrill of it. He rescued Jeff the albino crocodile from the floods, and kept him ad a companion, which Cohen's consent of course. A week later Manfred, the large crocodile appeared and stayed with Conrad as well. The newest edition would be Egan, a shamanistic crocodile. And finally the last edition is Edison, rescued from the monsoons after an accident involving a fallen tree branch

Conrad frightens most of the pride's lionesses, and they always warns cubs of going near the wild lion who wrestles with crocodiles, becuase the fear the cubs will be eaten, which is always a positivity Conrad never denies.

Conrad's Log [05/22/22}

I turned 15 today, a very big milestone in my book. I can feel my time coming, and it has me reflecting on my life. I've become sentimental in my old age. I suppose since my bones ache and i cant go as far as i used to on patrol. Poor Pepto, such a spry young lion. He dotes on me too much. He'll make a good lion.

Dany and I spend more of our time together than anything, reminecing in the time of Cohen. Our loved ones have crossed the rainbow bridge, and i hope that they are well. I cannot wait to see them. When my time comes, i'll have lived a full and happy life. I only wonder who will be there to greet me when it's my turn to cross over.
