Queen Sulphur was the first queen of the pride of the Drylands. She was born of the First King of the Perfugas, the pride of the ruthless Desert, but followed Bestia Desertis when he sought to create a new pride. She desired to see what life in a smaller pride would look like, hoping fewer members would insure that more attention went to her. Queen Sulphur brought with her her knowledge of governance and hunting, training the young lions who followed them to the Drylands. Her knowledge insured a smooth start to a new pride. Her lack of savagery were rather surprising considering her heritage but the Queen nonetheless managed to win her pridemembers' respect with pure leadership. She died many years before King Bestia Desertis, whom buried her with great honours and celebrations.
