FROZEN 5/27/19 DESCENDANTS Daughter: Sotinu Grand-daughter: Morkisa Daughter: Liat Surinya was rescued from the Giving Tree when she was six months old. Almost immediately Ussa felt there was something special about her, and sure enough just a few hours after that first nightfall her coat changed, becoming a deep, sultry blue that shifted with tiny pinpricks of brighter blues, purples and pinks. It was as if she'd been kissed by the Celestials themselves. Everyone expected her coat to return to normal in the morning light but to the pride's surprise her starry facade remained and Ussa dubbed her Surinya - a name meaning "celestial". At eight months, Surinya sprouted huge feathery wings from her shoulders that were painted with the same stellar shades as her fur. Getting around with the massive new appendages was difficult at first (particularly when it came to judging the size of cave openings and running between bushes and trees) but she adjusted quickly - and even began trying to fly, much to Ussa's amusement and, at times, dismay and horror.
