Caliope

Caliope is the second wife of King Ragnar, they met only one year after his marriage with Sekhem. Ragnar was in the celestial kingdom, paying a visit to an old friend when he met her. She was one of the many daughters of a king, a daughter born of a low rank mother that wasn't even a official consort in the pride. Caliope suffer a lot because of that, she wasn't protected by her father and the daughters of official consorts always pick on her. Because of that she grew a rebellious personality, and it was what drove Ragnar into falling in love with her and make her the second wife, Sekhem new that one day Ragnar would have to take another wifes so when that happend she was fine with it. The Queen Regnant was always very kind, even though Caliope always had a hard time in believe that Sekhem wasn't do anything whit her, so in the beginning she was very mean to her - some times she even try to maker her look bad -. But nothing that she did affected Sekhem or the love of the king for her, nor the other way around. The queen regnant continue to be kind to her, and with time she saw that finally she was in a place where she was safe and loved. They become good friends, sharing a bond of trust, happiness and affection. Caliope always respect the position of first wife and Queen Regnant of Sekhem. But things we're shaken when Rhea join the pride, the third wife.

Caliope was shocked when out of nowhere her husband broght home Sarabi, unlike what he did to her, when he came back after a long time Ragnar was already married to Rhea. Even though Caliope had good years by the king side she was shaken by the presence of Rhea, even more when Ragnar didn't tell her what happend. Because of that a little silent war as make between Rhea and her. Sarabi was a prudent one, but, she would never back off a fight so she started to go along that silent war. Some lions took Caliope's side and some Rhea's side, and the ones that was closer to Sekhem took no side or part on that. The more time passed the more heated things staring to get, with call the attention of the King and Sekhem, some of the followers of Caliope ambush and hurt Rhea. That was the breaking point. Ragnar scolded Caliope, even banishing her to Sekhem private cave for a while to give her time to think about what happend. Sekhem didn't scold her because their husband already did that, so she tried to understand why she was at war whit her. Finally Caliope admited that she was afraid Rhea would take her place, and Sekhem was understanding. After that she act as a mediator between those two, until they started to get along, but a profund bound was never made.
