Head Huntress of the Leonid Star pride, and one of the few lionesses willing to stand up to Astrod in his terrible tantrums, Meulin is in charge of everything food. She oversees the hunts, and sends those who need to rest to the trees for shade and comfort. She rations the food in lean times, and in abundant times, has what's extra sent over to their familiar pride of the Dark Gemini (run by Astrod's brother) to make sure they, too, eat, and from there, that what's left from their feasting is given out to the rest of the plains- for a small price, of course. Normally identified among the hunts by a decorative albino feather cluster at her ear, Meulin has recently taken to hiding herself more carefully so that the prey will not see her. In her slightly advanced age, she also does not wish to be taxed by leading hunts, instead leaving it to the younger lionesses, including the young one always named in her sake for those to follow and learn from.
