Born of Tai-Lung, undeniably the meanest lioness in the pride, Ak'Jazhre was cautious about breeding with her to begin with. But wanting to believe in whatever good he thought to be in her, he eventually gave in to her heat. Their union gave birth to Bai-Laohu, 'White Tiger', a male cub bearing striking similarities to his mother. Still, Ak sensed something powerful in the cub. However, whether malicious intent would surface or not remained to be seen.
Unlike previous guards, Bai-Laohu was fitted with his outfit at the young age of three months. It was advised, by visions shown by the past elders of the pride, that carrying skulls and bones would strengthen the young male and prepare him for his duty. As an unexpected side effect of being in touch with all these remains of death, ungodly beings entered the cub's body one night and caused a change in his body. Screaming and weeping, the male's parents dashed to his aid, finding the cub to have grown horns on his head and spikes on his back. Horrified, Ak feared the cub may have become a demon and an evil being after all, but Tai-Lung was much more accepting of what she considered to be a blessing for her son. Nurturing the cub all night, Tai-Lung would make sure to ensure the boy grew up to embrace and respect his wear and physique alike in the coming days of his life.
Arrogance began to surface as the cub neared adolescence, fueled by his mother's constant praise of his looks and position. Not overly fond of this attitude, relationship between father and son degraded even more and Bai-Laohu's residence in the pride became a topic of question. Fortunately though, Sha was entitled to training the cub much like he had trained Bai-Laohu's father before him, and the oldest sub-male's forgiving nature was a good influence on the proud adolescent. However, after his father's official heir was named to be Birinşi - the young Felis prince - Ak'Jazhre entrusted Bai-Laohu to train the young male. Though initially against it due to pride, the 'White Tiger' was eventually convinced and took the cub under his wing. He trained the future king all the way until Birinşi turned two years old, at which point he began patrolling a border on his own. This period of time, thanks to the heir bridging them, fixed the relationship between father and son, and allowed Bai-Laohu to remain in the pride until he would eventually pass away.
[29th of November 2018: "After Bai-Laohu was pushed into the mud by an elder sibling, Grandpaw Taivaantuli was the first to pick them up and give them a bath. Even as Bai-Laohu sniffles, Grandpaw Taivaantuli gives them some good advice on what to do next time."]
