Awiti

Awiti is the daughter of Vikali and an outside male, and is sister to King Amadi.

When Awiti was born, everyone was sure she wouldn't survive. Her mother Vikali, being the harsh no-nonsense lioness that she is, named her cub under the expectation that she would be burying her unimpressive daughter before the month was out. Yet, the little red bundle of fur endured. Despite being small, weak, and sickly, King Amadi was pleasantly surprised (and relieved) when his little sister managed to grow into adolescence.

Awiti takes after her mother, a stoic lioness with a sense of duty to the harsh truths of the world. She readily acknowledges that realistically, she should be dead, but fancies herself to be extraordinarily tough and resilient - in fact, she's become quite the legend in the sparring ring. She enjoys hunting and fighting immensely, and is very close to her older brother.
