**Cecil

{Cecil} twitched his ears as he heard you approach, and leapt to his feet, sniffing you out and rubbing against you.

You would have thought that {Cecil} would struggle with walking or finding his way around the den, but they stalked around with confidence no problem.

You come upon **Cecil gently snoozing despite a few intrepid young monkeys trying to get a rise out of him by chattering and throwing twigs.


Cecil cannot see and he never will. He was taken in as a cub and he helps in the pride where he can, especially with the young ones. Cubs love to climb all over him and talk with him and learn from him and he loves teaching them. A dwarf lioness named Ala is his best friend and helps him when he needs it, though he doesn't often anymore. She can't hunt and he can't patrol so they often enjoy each others company and the company of cubs to give mothers a break. When Cecil leaves the cave area to get food or water, she walks right in from of him and describes the terrain and gives him directions. Cecil and Ala are inseparable and will live out the rest of their days here.
