Duri Vipe

Born: 1-3-19
The first lethal mutated cub of the Rising Dawn pride, daughter of Rattlesnake of the Cave of Vipe, and King Anubis of the Cave of Hurri.
When Duri was born, the pride was in shock of the new mysterious mutation. Duri soon found herself feared by most of the pride members and her own den mates who shied away from her....all except her mother and sister, Rattlesnake and Unki. King Anubis and Queen Tasmania worried about the future health of the pride’s offspring and saw this as a sign from their ancestors as a result of their inbreeding. Queen Tasmania tried to find ways to better the health of Duri and constantly helped watch over her. From her time with Duri, she noticed the cub was special and not just in looks. Duri was incredibly intelligent being able to speak lion clearly through her two mouths, the two voices would speak in a union. Queen Tasmania also noticed how wise and knowable the cub was; she knew she wouldn’t live long and accepted her fate that she will not survive to see her first Littler day. Queen Tasmania grew more and more attached and curious of Duri, she wanted more than ever to save her life. King Anubis noticed Queen Tasmania’s growing obsession over the cub and warned against getting too attached and eventually banned the over-seeing of the cub. Queen Tasmania however ignored her king and secretly sought out ways to heal the cub. King Anubis heard of this from a royal and he took Duri; he hid her deep in the jungle but still under the protection of Queen Appleclaw’s barrier. Queen Tasmania finally found a fruit that would cleanse Duri of her mutation called Safou. However, she couldn’t find Duri anywhere and searched all that night. When she confronted King Anubis, he didn’t deny hiding the cub from her in fear it would make the pride weak. Queen Tasmania was furious and threatened to spill Emperor Infernal’s secret of his succession knowing it would ruin their alliance with the Wildheart pride. (She was bluffing obviously) When they made it to the Abandoned village King Anubis left Duri, there was no trace of the cub. Queen Tasmania was devastated and believe the cub to have died. The Rising Dawn pride moved on from the tragedy but there have been scarce sightings of the cub crawling through the jungle under thick fog. Some say she grants wisdom, insight, and health to those who she finds are worthy of her blessings. She is known as The Goddess of Insight
