Cub is following Grandpaw Distant Starshine's every move today - hopping in his footsteps, perking up at the same noises, even swishing and flicking their tail like his. Grandpaw Distant Starshine is keenly aware that his grandcub is there, but says nothing about it.

Grandpaw Distant Starshine coves over and lays down next to Stella, flicking their tail over to draw the attention of the wild cub. Grandpaw Distant Starshine continues, giving the rest of the pride some time off from entertaining Stella.

Poor old Grandpaw Distant Starshine was resting away from the cubs for a reason today, but that didn't stop Stella from bounding over and bumping their Grandpaw's chin with the top of their head in adoration before scarpering off. Grandpaw Distant Starshine stares after them as they scamper away, but whatever he wanted to say isn't spoken.

When Grandpaw Distant Starshine spots Stella sulking after they were left out of games, he saunters over and sits down next to them. No words pass between Grandpaw and grandcub, but they seem to have a moment of understanding with each other.

You pass by Stella and nod a greeting. She is smiling calmly, and returns your greeting. That... can't be a good thing.

You pass by Stella lurking in the shadows. She narrows her eyes as she watches you walk by. You are unsure if she is showing contentment or contempt, but it unsettles you.

As you pass by, Stella glares at you intently until you are fully out of her sight. You still feel uneasy a while afterwards.
