True to form, Barbados got what he wanted from Zalika. A chance to pass on his genes. Now, the lioness was soon to give birth any day now. She rested beside the rest of her pregnant pride-sisters, Celestia, Gianna, and one of the newer lionesses the king has claimed. But they weren't the only ones carrying the future of the pride. Sundari, Kamaria and Spartina were also pregnant. And going along with the same reaction as the rest, Zalika wasn't happy about it. This meant that her young, and the lives of the other expecting females were under threat. Surely Sundari's group will do anything for their cubs...so long as Barbados was pleased with them AND they were good mothers. For now, she watches the cubs interact any play with one another, caring on with their blissful minds elsewhere.
