Baekhee's Story-
Meeting Suho
"Hello, old friend," The Gorilla's heavy steps were heard as he crawled to the massive primal male with a concerned, worrying look on its face. "I'm assuming you've come to either take another enclave quest or buy decors?"
"You know me so well." The Nautilus-based king chuckled in his deep, velvety voice as he padded to the small hut in the jungle, ducking through the leaves that hung over its entrance like a living curtain, it contained decors that he wanted to bring home for his dear lionesses to wear and show off proudly. "Now, what is it you are worried about, gorilla? " His voice came from inside the hut, along with the sound of moving items. The Gorilla shook his head and bounded after the lion, worry clearly etched on his wrinkled face. "I found this lioness you see," He started. "She's injured, and really needs a home... But I can't keep her forever of course. She is a lion, and I a gorilla. So I was thinking-"
"That I could take her in?" Suho finished, a decor dangling from his powerful jaws that held it so carefully and precisely. His white eyes sparkled with interest even before the gorilla began to describe the female. After the gorilla finished, Suho smiled."Certainly. I'd love to have a new addition to my pride."
Meeting Saahil
Baekhee ventured deeper into an unknown land and to her greatest surprise, it was filled with pyramids. A lone figure dressed in gold accessories that sparkled under the scorching sunlight approached her, "Why, hello there." The voice was deep and sonorous, "My name is Saahil, what may bring you here on this very day?" Baekhee smiled nervously but wasn't sure on how she could reply, Saahil smiled, "Don't worry my dear, we have plenty of resources to share with you. I am sure you are going to be well welcomed, please make your self at home."
Meeting The Star
Baekhee had never felt so cold. The cold air chilled her bones, and, shivering, she padded on through the night and into an even colder forest. With flattened ears, Baekhee stumbled her way through it, only to find a male with a base reminding her of a silvery night sky. The male was sitting on a ledge on a cliff, tail nearly curled around his hind paws, stargazing. Sensing her presence, his right ear twitched and he turned around, eyes glinting excitedly. Before Baekhee could utter a word, the male spoke.
"I'm called The Star, welcome to my home. It's been a while since a Roaming Lioness has ventured here."
Meeting River Styx (Altair)
River Styx was surprised when she noticed a spotted gray female wandering near her pride. Usually, no one besides the girls she would bring home ever came. With a smile, she raced over to the visitor, wondering how she'd see her land and pride. Those who preferred Greek myths would see the land as Greek while those who preferred the night sky would see it as a land full of stars. "Hey, what are you doing here?" She watched as the strange lioness looked around, wondering which side of her pride she saw.
Meeting Désiré
Pressing through the tall grasses, Baekhee would grunt as she moved on through the night. Would she ever find anyone out here? The walk seemed endless. Though, eventually, a pale
lioness had come to investigate the her wafting scent. The lioness was as pale as the moonlight above, but it didn't bother Baekhee, she just wanted another place to rest, another pride to learn about.
"Greetings," the traveler rumbled as the pale lioness stopped.
"Hello," they replied,
"Are you here to see Désiré?" The lioness asked. Not knowing who this was, the traveller assumed this was her leader.
"Erm, yes. I just need a place to rest for now." The stranger nodded, turning tail and padding towards where she had come,
"You'll want to follow me, then."
Coming into camp the pair would spot the decorated queen easily as she ran her tongue through the cheek fur of her starkly plain partner.
"Who is this?" the pink queen purred, pausing in her grooming.
They are a traveller, miss." the blue lioness replied. With a flick of the leader's tail, the other was dismissed. Baekhee would explain her situation over to the queen, recounting her previous visits to prides.
"Well then, Désiré crooned,
"You may rest over there, by the pool of water." Giving her thanks, Baekhee would move to rest under the area, pale moonlight shining on her.
Meeting Aithusa
Baekhee's paws stung against the burning sand. The desert around her looked barren and devoid of life, but she was tracking the scent of a nearby pride. In the distance, she spotted an oasis, reminding herself of her parched tongue and dry throat. She walked closer and almost fell down to take a drink. "Excuse me." Baekhee's gaze shot up and locked onto the yellow, radiant ones of a male primal.
He was huge; his long sabered fangs protruded from his mouth and he was roughly twice her size. Despite his appearance, she was unfazed; she had seen many primals during her travels that prompted her to eliminate her fears. She cocked her head slightly. They were just big, dumb, fluffy lions after all. Vicious looking, but suprisingly friendly.
"Are you the king of these lands?" She asked, anticipating his response as she took a good look at his face. His fur reminded her of fire burning through wood, and his stripes and rosette made her think about his heritage. The primal muzzle twitched a few times as if he was about to say something, then abruptly stopped himself. "Yes," He eventually muttered - Baekhee could tell he wasn't good with his words. "are you looking for a place to stay?" The traveller nodded, and followed him. His shadow protected her from the heat of the sun and sand, which she was thankful of. "I'm Aithusa." He murmured, and that was the last time she heard him speak.
Returning Home (19 prides traveled to)
Baekhee padded through the desolate land, her pawpads aching from traveling so much. Age had taken its toll on her, making her fur matted and heavy, and causing her stamina to lower even more. Wrinkles formed on her once youthful and beautiful face, and her once sparkling eyes were dull with exhaustion. Dimly, she remembered her original pride before being sent off, and her old friends and companions. Most importantly, her old lover. Baekhee closed her eyes and slumped against a tree stump. She felt utterly tired, too tired to go on.
"Hello?" A soft, sweet voice murmured, and Baekhee opened her eyes to see a pastel, multi-colored female draped with various accessories staring at her. Despite her beautiful voice, the tone was cold. "What are you doing in our territory? Wait a second- Baekhee?!" Baekhee blinked, and managed to recognize Baekhyun from the depths of her memories, the heiress of her original pride.
"Baekhyun..."
