* As the Ancestral Listener, Tofauti is able to communicate with the pride's dead Ancestors. She is tasked with listening to their messages and interpreting the meaning, and then relaying their words to the King if there is any significance to it. Unlike the other significant roles in the pride, Ancestral Listeners do not take apprentices to train. If one joins the Ancestors, another will be born with the Ancestral Gift. *

- Tofauti prefers the company of the deceased and is seldom seen outside her den; she only comes out to eat and to speak with the King

- because she is constantly hearing the whispers of the Ancestors in her ears, she has a tendency to talk to herself in a hushed but intense murmur; this helps her sort out their jumbled words

Tofauti is standing quietly and watching the clouds move over the lands. For some reason this makes your heart skip a beat.

[5/2/21] You woke up and found a little bird snack waiting in front of your nose. Tofauti is resting nearby, with a little smile on her face. (Seeing as Tofauti rarely engages in unnecessary interaction, Khari took this as a sign that the Ancestors approved him as King.)
