Rhaenyra's second leopon daughter, her mother was permitted to keep her at the Red Keep after her older sister from a previous litter, Jaehaera, was sent to a foreign pride as a means of establishing an alliance. Ceryse grew up happy and well-loved, quickly becoming fast friends with the younger daughter of her mother's rival, Ashara. She is the mother of Teora, Tyanna, Barbrey, Elinor, Rhaena, Princess Bellenora, Lady Rhea, Prince Lucerys, Prince Aemon, Lollys, Lady Viserra, and several other children. She was born a princess, but after her mother's breeding age passed, Lucerys named her one of his queens.
