Murkcloud

In life, Murkcloud was a wanderer who joined Clan Vanguard in its youth. She was known to be sharp-tongued and brutal. While her skill as a warrior gained her plenty of respect under Hallowsun's reign, much of that respect was borne of fear, due to her tendency to start fights just for the sake of it.

Her reputation was thrown into question, however, when she gave birth to her first litter and then abandoned all three of the young cubs. In Murkcloud's mind, they weren't vicious enough to be worth her time. What she wanted was a strong-willed heir to her legacy; one who could potentially claim the throne once Hallowsun was gone. It became an obsession of hers. She would not rest until she had ensured the survival of her bloodline.

With the birth of her youngest cub, Tornstrike, Murkcloud was... not satisfied, but at least willing to work with what she had. Age was catching up with her, and she knew she didn't have much time to mold Tornstrike into the heir she wanted. She was single-minded in her focus until the day she died.

But even death wasn't able to stop her. Not forever.

Many years later, Clan Vanguard had been through several reigns, and Murkcloud's legacy was slowly fading. She knew, and her wrath twisted her spirit, making it into something wrong. She came back to life in a monstrous form, bent on clawing back what should have been hers.
