Azai

Once Azai was a happy and joyous cub, energetic and was extremely close with the cubs he'd grown up with, more so crushing on Alani and took on a big brother role to Izar. However, one day while most of the lionesses were out on the hunt and their king out on alliance business, a rival lion had snuck into the pride and targeted the cubs. The then young teenage lion bravely fought off the rival lion as long as he could until help had arrived. The effects after, however, were immeasurable. not only had he become badly scarred and now unable to ever breed, but it soon came to light that Azai could not feel emotions like he once did. They're not completely gone, but distant and muted. Azai does things analytically rather than emotionally. A goal in his life it to track the lion who'd almost hurt his friends he once felt so much for, and kill him. It would be the least he can do, with not being able to feel much anymore. Regardless of this, He remains loyal to his king now, and to his future king more so. He's accepted Alani as his mate, who he tries his best to feel for every day.
