When she first came to this pride she was not convinced she would stay. She had an attitude a mile wide, and thought of running several times. If only to show she was independant. However, every morning Minnaar came. Humbly, he left her a portion of meat and offered to groom her. She would snatch the carcass and flick him away with her tail. Something started to change, maybe she just needed a good bath, and Minnaar broke through her wall. She had one cub with him... Dark Horse. But he ran away, knowing he'd never be king of this pride. When he was young she was distant, and cold. Often he would climb on her and she would snap and push him aside. She had no claim on his loyalty and affections. It still stung to see him go before she saw him grown.
