Andesine's mother left the pride when Andesine was still young, disappearing to wander the pridelands alone. Having recently given birth to a cub of her own, Raindance took her in and raised her alongside her youngest daughter, Ama. Since the two were close in age, they grew up as close as sisters. Though Kayode had planned on raising his daughter himself, Raindance insisted that it would be better for the cub to grow up with a sibling and experience the love of a mother. Kayode could not say no to one of his most trusted lionesses. Although Raindance did most of the work, Kayode often brought Andesine on patrols with him when she was older and spent much of his free time doting on his daughter. Upon reaching adulthood, she decided to stay with the pride rather than disperse with her half-siblings. Not long after Ama and Andesine reached adulthood, Raindance quietly passed away. To honor her memory, the two lionesses promised to always raise their cubs together.
Andesine remains the second-highest ranked lion in the pride, after King Tufani. Always mindful of his status as the younger sibling, Tufani holds his sister with the highest regard and never makes an important decision without consulting her first. One of her youngest daughters, Mkali takes after her and loves to spend time with her uncle.

You greet Andesine by nudging them with your nose. They squirmed and batted at you, before dashing in a circle.

You find Andesine just as she made a great hunting pounce. You praise her and she positively glows. Warm fuzzies all around!

You approach a group of lions sitting in a semicircle. In front of them you see Andesine telling a story with great enthusiasm. You sit down and listen for a while before moving on.

Andesine approaches you, gives you a small nuzzle and asks about your day.
