Shadow Blizzard

When you greet her, Shadow Blizzard smacks you with her tail as she turns around to take care of her own damn business.
Shadow Blizzard huffs a greeting when you approach, but as soon as you're too close she smacks your cheek. Ow!
You come up to Shadow Blizzard and hear her talking about escape plans to another pride mate. As you approach, she suddenly gets quiet and looks a bit guilty. Perhaps some extra patrolling is in order tonight.
You ask Shadow Blizzard if she wants a tip on her hunting technique, and she tells you she'd rather learn from a log. Ugh, brat.

Shadow Blizzard was born in King Ashura's pride to Bramble Toes, an outcast who gave her cub to the broodmothers as soon as she was weaned. She was a snarky, sassy cub who loved breaking the rules and had lots of friends. As she grew older though, she became less social. She could be seen sitting alone, talking to herself in camp. At least, that was what her pridemates thought. Shadow Blizzard was actually speaking to the spirits of her ancestors who's spirits would manifest around her. It took her a long time to not see herself as strange for having this power.
Right before she became an adult, she was traded to King Nyuki's pride. This gave her a new start, and in this new pride, she was back to being herself. It wasn't until she was almost 7 years old that she realized she may have been seeing those spirits for a reason; King Ashura never had a prophet for his pride. Shadow Blizzard kept quiet, but decided to send her daughter, Blue Smoke, to his pride so she would have an excuse to visit and figure out for herself if it was worth changing her life once again.
When she brought her daughter to train as a defender in King Ashura's pride, she immediately started seeing the ghosts of his ancestors all over, yet she still told no one. She continued to visit her daughter at least once a moon, and every time until the King's death she continued seeing spirits. After he passed, he came to her in a dream and asked her why she never revealed herself as his prophet. Shadow Blizzard explained that she wanted a normal life, and King Ashura was disappointed.
She continued to visit her daughter, but never saw another ghost again. It seems as if the King took away her power from the afterlife. As even more of a punishment, when she birthed another daughter, Charcoal Smudge, she was born with no claws. Shadow Blizzard was still grateful to have a cub to raise herself this time, and having no claws was not the end of the world.
