Cael, as he was named at birth, was a surprise to Alamar Caesar. The patches of his pelt signified that he had a condition known as piebald. Thankfully, the condition was only a cosmetic one. Soon after his birth, he was named the future heir of the pride after Alamar Caesar retired. To signify that fact, he was given a second name just like the king to show his importance: Apallos. Cael Apallos grew up a relatively good childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. That was, of course, until the day Cain appeared in the pride. Almost immediately, he started to cause issues, especially for Cael Apallos. One day, it reached a breaking point. After a few threatening words with Cael Apallos, the two decided to fight for the position of heir. Cael Apallos, being over four years old while Cain Abaddon was only a mere year and a half, thought he was clearly going to win despite how... heartless Cain Abaddon seemed. In the end, though, Cain Abaddon won the fight and claimed the title of future king of the pride. In order to show he was now the heir, Alamar Caesar chose a second name for Cain: Abaddon. Mourning the loss of the position, Cael still resides in his tribe, occasionally going on patrols whenever Cain Abaddon decides he's too tired to do so. He's glad he still has his mother, Eira, with him for the time being.
