Cinna

As Cinna was wandering through the charred grasslands she was wondering if anywhere still went untouched by fire. The jungle she came from was engulfed by waves of firestorms and all of her pride had perished. She only escaped because she was hunting at the edge.
"You are beautiful"
A male voice scared her, emerging from behid a swath of burned trees stood a young male, he looked at her warmly and invited Cinna to join his pride.
"How can such a young lion be king of a pride already?"
"Let me tell you our story.."

After a few days Cinna slowly got over the shock of finding out her mate the king was not able to produce cubs she began to realize if she could not have cubs her position as Queen was at risk once Cherry Freckles passed on. The pride didn't know about their kings infertility yet. It was Cherry Freckles himself whom suggested she go out on a "patrol" to look for another lion who could give her a litter to continue their legacy.
After a rough month of poachers frightening off all the prey, Cinna watched her king and mate succumb to hunger and his wounds from fighting. Getting older and having one eye clouded and sightless she passed the title of queen to her daughter Cinnamon Rose. Then Cinnamon Rose beared a son, Henna Rose who has a unique look about him...
