You happen upon a dreary looking river; it’s banks muddy and mostly bare thanks to the constant lapping from the flowing water. Just off to the side laying beneath a tree there’s an elderly hybrid. Taking notice of you she slowly lifts her head with a friendly purr. “Seems you’ve ventured a fair distance to end here, cub,” she comments in a raspy tone. After some insistence from the elderly big cat you join her for the afternoon. Listening to and exchanging life stories with each other until she declares herself tired before settling to rest just as you’d found her. Lifting yourself from your comfy spot you begin on your way once more, but not before glancing back for one final farewell.
