Lendri

Lendri was the first lioness to be welcomed into Tejunda's pride. They met as is to be expected- wandering the plains. Lendri, being calm and quick-minded, approached the confrontation warily and with great asperity. They spoke for a long while, Tejunda being the sort to practice respect and deference when approaching females. Eventually they agreed that she would follow him home. It was practicality that dictated that they would breed and attempt heirs- but that is not to say they did not enjoy each other's company. In fact, it is during the early stages of her pregnancy that she and Tejunda began the first inklings of a closer bond.

When Alizeti came to their small group, she welcomed her openly, valuing her as a friend and confidante.

It was Lendri who chose to rescue the young cub, Tanga, from the lonely escape of the Giving Tree. She was already pregnant and found in the boy a youngster in need of love. He is as a son to her; she found no pretest in Tejunda, who has no qualms about cubs and creatures, male or otherwise. He is in fact quite fond of the little scamp.
