Biography
Created and decorated 3rd December 2019. She is a tribute to my Nan who I lost April 22nd 2017 at 2:22 in the morning. She died quite suddenly and it was a shock I don't think Ill ever get over. As it gets to this time of year when she would come round to celebrate with us even more frequently than she did, spending the whole of Christmas day and boxing day with us, I find myself missing her even more. She would visit 2 or more times a week, every week and lived in the same area as me so having her so suddenly vanish from my life was hard. On the 20th of April she had been in my kitchen, cooking a roast when she said she had felt a little ill. Upset stomach or something. She left earlier than normal that day, before she could even finish cooking, so that she could rest at home. That night she went to hospital to have her system cleared out and spent the night there. The next day she was given a camera to see if anything was amiss in her intestines and it was discovered that something was very wrong. They opened her up and found that two of the main blood vessels had become blocked and her bowls and intestines were shutting down and dying. Family started hearing the news late on the 21st. She wouldn't last the night. My Nan ended up on full life support and there was no chance of her waking up and recovering. Therefore my mum made the hard decision to shut off the machines. By now it was early morning on the 22nd. The machines were shut off and my Nan continued to breath on her own for a little while. Her 3 children were in the room with her, My mum and my two uncles. My mum had her head resting on Nan's chest and she passed at 2:22 that morning. When she was still awake on the 21st, my mum told my Nan that we love her. My Nan's last words were "I love you all too." _____________________________________________________ You apparently ate something bad last night, and you just flop on the ground. Robin comes up to you and asks if you want anything. She brings you some grass and water, and sits next to you until you feel better.
