Fernfrond came across as cold and untrusting, very much a loner in the Pride's social standing. And she was. She liked it that way, she would tell you, in a voice that was a low grumble like a stormcloud in her throat. She was more suited to hunting than the role of a Broodmother- she couldn't stand the loud, boisterous play of cubs and didn't see the appeal of them, either. A huntress at heart, she loved the chase and the feel of her prey's flesh under her claws, and more often than not was asked to lead the hunting parties.
