Fogshadow 1178

The young warrior Fogshadow is almost as talented as her rival, Ayomide. She is honest enough to concede that Ayo is the superior hunter, though it helps that she doesn't covet the Chief Huntress position anyhow. Fogshadow is a pragmatic lioness; in her mind, the best should lead, and Ayomide is the best the pride had right now. If Ayo were not here, then sure, Fog would be the best, and would lead... but Ayo is, so Fog isn't, and doesn't. In her mind, that's that. It just doesn't occur to her to be jealous or scheme the way some lions would. For Fogshadow, that's just how things are, a very matter-of-fact "that's that" kind of thing. To tell the truth, she's more comfortable taking orders than giving them anyhow. She prides herself on her own efficiency, and it would be hard to focus on that while also having to worry about the performance of the rest of the team.

For some reason, Fogshadow has a certain way with avians. She will hunt them if required to, but on her own time, she has a number of birds that she considers her friends. Some of these birds - namely, those belonging to predatory species - will even help her when she's out hunting by guiding her to fresh carcasses, lame wildebeest, and other easily exploited resources (in exchange for sharing, of course!) They sometimes even bring her small rodent snacks.
